Puppy Kidz Weekly Progress
|
 |
We have 6 girls and 2 boys. All are quite healthy and alert. We have quite an assortment of colors and markings. What a beautiful Herd of Havs! Mom is doing great and just wants to nurse her new Puppy Kidz.

Puppies are gaining weight and have just about doubled in size. The umbilical cords have dried and fallen off. The dew claws have been removed. The puppies are much stronger now and can scoot quite fast. They stretch and yawn and spend quite a lot of time on their backs. They are so sweet to just watch. We have been holding them and rubbing them to give them stimulation and of course kissing them.

The Puppy Kidz are getting really strong now, they can crawl instead of scoot. They can hold their weight on their front legs holding their head up. About half have opened their eyes and the other half is almost open. The ears are open on all Puppy Kidz. They eat a lot and sleep most of the time. We have moved them to living room some of the time to expose them to new sounds. We continue to hold them, rock them, and kiss them to stimulate them and socialize them. They are getting bigger each day.

Puppies are getting so big and strong now. They are gaining wieght and are quite healthy. The are all walking and playing with each other, biting tails and pulling ears. They are so cute to watch they will wobble around and fall over like toddlers learning to walk. Bee Sting 5 has managed to crawl out of the whelping box and fall asleep under the chair so we have the half door on the box now. Bee Sting 7 has actually learned the doggy bark song. He likes to sit up and sing for us at all times of the night!

Puppies have really changed these last two weeks. They look like Havanese now. They are climbing out of the whelping box. We had to put the 3/4 door in and remove the pig rails. They were using the pig rails for a stepping stool to get out of the whelping box. They can run, play, bark, growl, and drink water. We have started them on weaning cereal this week. They are actually showing their personalities and love to be held and kissed.

The Puppy Kidz are weaned and eating kibble now. They spend the night hours in the bedroom in the whelping box and they day hours in the living room being socialized. They have had a fecal check which was normal. They are growing by the hour and getting really strong. They run and play with each other and they are so much fun to watch. We have started potty training and they are doing really good. They know that when they hit the grass its time to do their business. Its amazing to see them learn so fast.
